Pat Moylan

Producer

Based in Ireland, Pat Moylan has been a Producer for the last 20 years, producing award-winning shows in Ireland, the West End and Broadway, as well as touring productions. Pat’s West End producing credits include the Olivier Award-winning Stones in His Pockets by Marie Jones (also on Broadway and on tour), Alone it Stands by John Breen, The Shawshank Redemption by Owen O’Neill and Dave Johns, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Triple Espresso and Women on the Verge of HRT.  Her partners in these ventures were producers Paul Elliott, Duncan Weldon, Adam Kenwright, Breda Cashe, Donal Shiels and Jenny King.

She was Artistic Director of Andrews Lane Theatre in Dublin for 18 years and during that time she presented hundreds of shows that were enjoyed by thousands of patrons. In 2008 she was thrilled to have been nominated for a Special Award by The Irish Times for her achievements during that period.

In 2001, Pat formed Lane Productions in Dublin with Breda Cashe and the successful duo produced a number of highly acclaimed shows including Twelve Angry Men, Deadline, 84 Charing Cross Road, I, Keano and later they were joined by Donal Shiels and together they produced The Field with Brian Dennehy, Haunted by Edna O’Brien and  The Shawshank Redemption.

Other credits include: Brighton Beach Memoirs with Carole King; the highly acclaimed and award winning Beowulf The Blockbuster, written by and starring Bryan Burroughs, which has completed an enormously successful engagement at the Irish Arts Center, New York and was the number one show at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe before playing at both the Adelaide and Perth Festivals; Tom Crean – Antarctic Explorer winner of a Fringe First in Edinburgh, at the Olympia Theatre Dublin and on tour throughout Ireland to capacity audiences. The production continues to tour; Geraldine Aron’s A Galway Girl that played in Bewley’s Theatre, Dublin and at the Galway International Arts Festival. Most recently, she again joined forces with Breda Cashe to produce the Irish premiere of Driving Miss Daisy.

With John McColgan and Moya Doherty she produced A Tribute to Edna O’Brien at the Gaiety Theatre in 2016.

In addition to her theatre producing, film credits include the multi award winning short The Breakfast and the feature film Borstal Boy directed by Peter Sheridan starring Shawn Hatosy and Danny Dyer.

1n 2014 Pat completed a five-year term as Chairman of the Arts Council of Ireland.

  

Ciarán Walsh

Executive Producer

Ciarán Walsh has been involved in all areas of the performing arts since his first professional job as a Stage Manager with Opera Theatre Company. He has been General Manager of the Dublin Theatre Festival and Managing Director of Druid Theatre Company. He has worked with Abhann Productions as Line Producer on Riverdance. From 2005 to 2010, he was a Director of Long Road Productions managing and producing various large-scale theatre productions and events. Aside from his producing projects, he works as Programme Manager for Culture Ireland, the body responsible for the promotion of Irish arts worldwide. He has been Chair of Irish Theatre Magazine Ltd., a board member of Macnas, Ireland’s premier Street Arts & Spectacle Company and was a Council member of The Arts Council of Ireland from 2011 to 2016.
